Seeger Sing - Benefit for Community Kitchens
What seems like a long, long time ago, way back in September, you may remember that Phile Dieke and Autie Carlisle visited our congregation. On April 19, we will celebrate brunch church and premiere this inspirational documentary that features our congregation and the ways we are meeting this moment with hope.
Worship will take place in Harrison Hall. All are invited to the feast. If you are able, bring something to share, if you can’t or forget - or like Pastor Kevin have breakfast before the sun rises, come!
From accounting to zookeeping your gifts, skills and passions bring this body to life.
On Sunday April 26 following worship, teams and ministries will have tables and displays in Harrison Hall. Team members will share updates and opportunities in the many ministries that are part of our congregation.
(O.k. maybe not zookeeping - though help is always welcome corralling animals at our annual Pet Blessing in October.)

Who we are
We are a small, spirited community of faith nestled on historic Woodstock Hill in northeastern Connecticut. Founded in 1690 and worshiping in our classic New-England meetinghouse since 1820, we carry forward more than three centuries of Congregational heritage while embracing the fresh winds of God’s Spirit today. Our guiding motto—“Welcoming, Growing, Caring – Sharing Christ’s Love with All People”—shapes everything we do.
Rooted in the United Church of Christ
As part of the United Church of Christ, we stand within a nationwide fellowship known for progressive theology, social justice witness, and congregational freedom. The UCC’s Statement of Faith anchors us in the good news of a God who “seeks in holy love to save all people…bestows upon us the Holy Spirit…[and] promises forgiveness, grace, and courage in the struggle for justice and peace.”
An Open & Affirming
In 2003 we formally became an Open and Affirming (ONA) congregation, pledging that “there are no outsiders in a community that is observant of God’s will.” We welcome people of every race, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, economic circumstance, and ability into the full life and leadership of the church.
